The
Foundation of Hope is a community based organization, administered
by Paterson residents and largely services Paterson & Passaic
County residents. The Foundation of Hope's programs, primarily for
Paterson teens, have been successful in achieving low recidivism
rates, and provides wraparound services for all its youthful
participants. The Foundation's administration and staff believe in
strengthening families and community ties. It is culturally
sensitive, has bilingual staff, and encourages teens to strive for
excellence. The Foundation's Summer Enrichment Program gives teens a
chance to increase grade levels in English and Math. In an
environment that is physically & emotionally safe, Paterson
teens strive for excellence in the Foundation's Out of School
Program. Here they are guided, respected, and nurtured by educators
and professional staff, who are committed to knowing each student as
an individual who is capable of learning, and succeeding. The
Foundation of Hope is based upon family, and all those who are part
of the Foundation, are looked upon in that way, and treated as
such.
The Foundation of Hope is unique in the services it offers the
community. In addition to being culturally sensitive, it has a cross
range of empathetic professionals who are dedicated to serving the
children, families, and adults of Paterson and Passaic County.
Paterson residents administer it, and its Board of Directors is a
group of concerned Paterson professionals who work as a team with
the administrative and professional staff of the Foundation, in
order to provide quality holistic treatment and programs to this
community.
